As a minimum, new associates are required to purchase a Business Introduction Package. This kit contains all the business material required to start your Watkins business as well as samples of a selection of the Watkins range of Quality Products.
You have the option of purchasing one of three special product assortment kits at significant discount. These are excellent ways of learning about our product range, as well as a great money-saver opportunity. If you are following the Steps to Success brochure, note that the three kits give you sufficient points to qualify for Step 1 immediately.
Two of the Assortment Kits include the Watkins E-Associate Web package which allows you to set up your own home page on the Watkinsonline web site. From there, your customers can place orders online and look at stories you write. Check out our web site to see an example of what you can do (our web site will open in a new browser window - close the window to return to this page when you have finished looking). This is a great way to run a growing business but it can be an unnecessary expense at the outset for a new associate unless they are planning for fast growth - please talk to us first if you are considering the E-Associate package at start-up (you can always add it later when you are ready to build with it).
All three kits include a Business Introduction Package, so you can choose one of them as an alternative to the basic kit when you sign up - that way, you get the best of all worlds AND you get a head start on your first month's point count.
The choice is yours - only the Business Introduction Package is required, but we strongly recommend you to consider the assortment kits. The best investment for most new associates is the Basic Business Starter Kit - remember that you are starting a business and you will need to buy (and use) the products. You can sell the products from the kit and make a profit doing so, as well as getting your business off to a rolling start.
